The 2011 Green Card Lottery is starting again.

The Lottery is open for entries from noon on Friday, October 2, 2009 until noon Monday, November 30, 2009.

The Green Card Lottery provides an incredible change to win legal permanent status in the United States. For 55,000 lucky winners the American dream will come true. You could be one of them.

The Green Card Lottery only has two main requirements:
• You have to be born in a country eligible to participate in the Lottery; and
• You have to have at least a high school degree or equivalent work experience.

Most natives find themselves on the list of eligible nations. Only natives the following countries cannot participate:

BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, PERU, POLAND, RUSSIA, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM.

Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan are eligible.

For assistance in participating in the 2011 Green Card Lottery please download the Green Card Lottery 2011 Questionnaire, which also provides you with information on the photo requirements and the legal fee for the entry of your information into the Lottery by Weyergraf Immigration, PA. U.S. Immigration does not charge a fee for the participation in the Lottery.
